Maybe you just got a promotion, maybe your starter car just drove its last mile, or maybe you just decided to just go for it because you deserve something better; whatever the reason, now may be the time to upgrade your ride from the base level to the next level. Honda offers tons of reasons to spring for the higher trim level, and Patty Peck Honda is here with the details.
Honda vehicles come available in a standard lineup of trim levels, starting with the LX at the base, then moving up to the EX in the mid-range, and topping out at the premium Touring trim, with some variations in each model. Upgrading from one trim level to the next always includes the full list of features and adds on more amenities.
Easily one of the best parts about driving a Honda is knowing you’ll get some of the most cutting-edge technology features in the business. When you upgrade to the EX or Touring trim levels, you can expect awesome tech enhancements like rain-sensing variable intermittent windshield wipers that automatically activate when it rains and adjust speed depending on the amount of rain hitting the windshield. You’ll also enjoy the automatic LED headlights (pictured below), and the Smart Entry with Walk Away Auto Lock® that can lock and unlock the doors when it senses you approaching the vehicle with the key fob in your pocket.
Your upgrade also comes with the addition of leather appointments throughout the interior. The steering wheel and shift knob both get enveloped in leather, and you’ll enjoy leather power seats with multiple positions, lumbar support, and the ability to memorize specific settings for different drivers and passengers. Plus, upgrades can include heated and cooled seats in both the front and rear seats. And you can really stay cool with the available one-touch power panoramic moonroof letting in the air.
Honda has already announced its commitment to make the Honda Sensing® safety suite standard on all models and trim levels by 2022, and several models have already met that commitment, while others still offer it as an upgrade. You can also upgrade to some of the best infotainment features on the market, like an 8-Inch high-resolution electrostatic touchscreen, complete with connectivity via USB port, HondaLink®, Apple CarPlay™, Android Auto™, SiriusXM® Radio, and HD Radio™. Or upgrade even further to the premium audio system with more speakers, including a subwoofer. The top-of-the-line Touring trim also includes the Honda Satellite-Linked Navigation System™ with voice recognition and Honda HD Digital Traffic, plus Mobile Hotspot Capability and a built-in Wireless Phone Charger (pictured below).
